PHASE I
Getting to Know You
& Your Home
Our process begins with an initial design questionnaire to learn more about your goals, budget and aesthetic. We will then arrange a zoom consultation to introduce ourselves and learn more about you and your home.
PHASE III
Design Presentation
& Selection
Our design is revealed with mood boards, renderings, samples, and floor plans. We welcome all feedback as we go through revisions. Once we have landed on a finalized design, we move into project management and procurement where we build detailed budget and tracking plans, and begin invoicing and ordering.
PHASE II
Consultation
& Proposal
This is an in person visit to your home to dive deeper into your project vision. At this point we will take photos, initial measurements and prepare a project proposal for your review. Once contracts are signed, we will begin the design phase.
PHASE IV
Renovation, Installation
& Styling
This may take place over several weeks or months, depending on the scope of work involved. From here we continue to manage your project, working closely with all necessary contractors, coordinating deliveries and installing each room.

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE?
We charge a flat fee for the concept design brief and an hourly fee for project management, procurement and installation. We charge a design commission on all items specified for the project.
HOW SOON CAN YOU START?
Start dates and project timelines depend on our current project load.
HOW LONG THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?
Good design takes time. We believe in designing your home for the long term and focusing on providing you with customized, specialty pieces that will last. Project timelines are dependent on the scope of work and level of detail. The pre-construction phase can be as short as two months or as long as a year. Typically, the design brief takes 10 - 12 weeks depending on the size of the project, with revisions provided in 3 - 4 weeks. Lead times vary, but even for furnishing and decorating projects only, it takes about 4 months to finalize the design, and up to 6 months from approval before any furniture may be installed.
CAN WE WORK ON THE HOME IN PHASES?
Yes. We often begin with just a few rooms or spaces, but we have a set a minimum level of investment of $150,000.
CAN I MANAGE THE PROJECT MYSELF?
We manage all aspects of the project related to design, including furniture and decor. The contractor manages the construction process, however we are highly involved and oversee the construction process every step of the way.
